I suggest you park (if you want to take pictures) on the front of it (coming from Ternate, Cavite which is a 30 mins drive) because at the other end of the tunnel, it is prohibited to park, go near or even take pictures. Also, there will be lots of people on the front. And if you go pass the tunnel and drive like (3-10 mins I forgot) you can actually find a good place to take pictures, camp and stay overnight. 💜
3rd atime ng bumalik its nice to be back after a years past love & enjoy
Kaybiang Tunnel and Viewdeck: A Road Less Traveled, A Memory More Treasured! 🚗🌄
Nestled in Maragondon's embrace is the iconic Kaybiang Tunnel, a passage to an enchanting realm where nature and craftsmanship converge. As you navigate through this engineering marvel, the rhythmic echoes of your journey amplify the sense of adventure.
Strategically position your vehicle, and the panoramic view that unfolds from the near viewdeck becomes a feast for the eyes. The distant mountains, kissed by the sun's golden hues, form a backdrop that invites you to pause and marvel at the canvas painted by nature.
During our visit, we encountered Clarisse, a talented young photographer. Entrusting her with our moments, she skillfully captured the essence of our journey. In return, we supported her by purchasing the delightful pastillas she and her friends crafted with care. Their entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to their craft are commendable, showcasing the resilience and creativity of the youth.
Kaybiang Tunnel and the nearby viewdeck beckon travelers not just to witness the breathtaking landscapes but to engage with the vibrant souls that call this place home. It's a reminder that every journey, no matter how short, is an opportunity to create connections and leave a positive imprint.
Embark on the road less traveled, not merely to reach a destination, but to craft memories that linger long after the journey's end. 🛣️🌟 #KaybiangTunnel #MaragondonVibes #JourneyMemories
Nice place to go road trip with motorcycle. Too many zigzags but exciting. Will be back again
Good place for biking, lots of cafe and restaurants along the road with good food and refreshments.
Part of the public works built in Maragondon, Cavite. This tunnel provides access from the neighboring province of Batangas (mainly its western towns e.g. Nasugbu) towards Cavite. Seaward is the tunnel's western end, which is a downward slope for several hundred meters. The tunnel is cut from the mountains of Maragondon which dominates the entire area and is still heavily forested.
